Summer Fun

This summer Alex has been a traveling boy. He has been to Seattle, Mackinac Island, Grand Rapids, Grosse Pointe, Chicago, and then back to Seattle again. Thank goodness he is a good traveler! There have also been a few firsts this summer-almost crawling, first cold, first Air Show, first County Fair, and his first tooth popped through on Sunday.

Alex 14 Weeks

Hard to believe Alex is already 3 months old. We are really starting to see a personality shine through. He loves to babble and "talk" to us while lying on his back. He is reaching for things with both hands and has just started to giggle. It has been fun watching his change so much the past few weeks!
Hanging out with dad before bed.
Reading his Sunday morning news.

Alex started smiling last week just before we left for Detroit to visit family. He had a great time seeing all of his cousins and grandparents. Here are some pictures...

Alexander John Nicholson

Alex was born on January 13, 2010 at 7:24 pm. When he was born he was 7 lbs 9 oz and 20.5 inches long. He is a beautiful little boy with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes. John and I are enjoying having him around...especially since he is such a good baby. He has been sleeping 4-6 hours straight at night and only cries when he is hungry, tired or has a dirty diaper. Here are a few pictures from his first few days at home and a video as well.
